Row Eleven Wine Company is different than most wineries. We are Winemaker-oriented. You must be thinking all wineries are Winemaker oriented. But they are not. Some Winemakers are lucky and get to work for the wineries of their dreams. Most Winemakers actually don’t. They crush the owner’s grapes. All vineyards are not born equal. Neither are all rows. Before we make a wine we ask ourselves the following questions: What are we really passionate about making? What region would we choose to get the grapes from if we could choose anywhere in the world? What vineyards in that region would be available to us? Would we be allowed to select the vineyard rows we feel are the very best? That is why Row Eleven makes Pinot Noir from Russian River and Santa Maria. That is why we take Chardonnay from Carneros, and Cabernet Sauvignon from Oakville and Rutherford for Stratton Lummis. We want to bring you the best grapes from the best areas that they grow in. If we can’t do that, then we won’t make the wine. Lastly, we respect money. We understand its value. That is why our mission is to insure that the quality of our wines are more than double what you will end up paying for them.
