I talked to “The Rock” today. Not the actor. “The Rock” is my nick name for Sharon. Sharon is responsible for sales in several southeastern states. I call her “The Rock” because she is so solid. She needs no attention. She asks for nothing. I hardly ever reach out to her, which is a shame, because she is fun to talk to. If you were a general and you needed one of your officers to hold their ground no matter what (it is Veterans Day as I write this) you would choose Sharon. You could make a battle plan assured Sharon would hold whatever ground you gave her.
Sharon has a real fun buddy who is also in the wine business, “The Mute”. I call her “The Mute” because the first time I met her I couldn’t get one word into the conversation. Not for two days! Then, the next time I met her I couldn’t get her to say two words to me. One thing I am sure of is that it couldn’t have been anything that I had said. I like the ladies of South Carolina. There is something solid about all of them.
Thanks for all your hard work Sharon. Thanks to all our Vets. Oh, not that I qualify as a movie critic, I am just a guy trying to see how many commas I can cram into a sentence, but, if it's one of those nights when you can’t decide on a movie, try the other Rock and rent the movie “Game Plan.”
